Baby Laundry Hanging on a Clothesline

Closing the Loop

Textile waste is having a profound impact on the environment, with discarded clothing contributing to over 92 million tons of waste each year globally. When clothes are thrown away, they often end up in landfills where synthetic fibers take hundreds of years to decompose, releasing harmful chemicals and greenhouse gases in the process. Additionally, the production of new textiles involves significant water and energy consumption, exacerbating the strain on our natural resources. Recycling old clothing not only reduces the volume of waste sent to landfills but also conserves resources and energy by reusing materials. By recycling, we can help "Close the Loop" and mitigate the environmental impact of textile waste, reduce pollution, and support a more sustainable fashion industry.

How it works

1. Bring any unwanted baby clothes from your closet, by any brand and must be in wearable condition, to our dedicated stores or exhibition booths.

2. Hand in your bag of old baby clothes at the counter and receive a instant rebate or coupon to be used on your next purchase. Super easy!

Once you’ve dropped off your baby's previously loved fashion in one of our garment collecting boxes, we will take it from there. Our team will sorts the unwanted clothing into three categories:

Repurpose: Wearable clothes are donated to the ones who need.

Reuse: If the clothes or textiles are not suitable for rewear, they’re turned into other products, such as remake collections or cleaning cloths. (Still in beta stage...)

Recycle: All other clothes and textiles will be sent to textile recycle centre where they are shredded into small pieces and turn into recycled textile materials.
